We have several volunteer opportunities for anyone interested in working outside and being a part of our many habitat restoration projects. We have one volunteer group that meets every Tuesday (weather dependant) year round, but for all other opportunities check here and on our Calendar page. for scheduled dates. Unless otherwise specified assume all activities are from 9am - noon.

Special Events

Annual Spring Bird Walk - May 5, 2013
Join us for the annual Spring Bird Walk in South Lime Ridge. All levels of bird watching experience welcome! The specific route we will be taking this year will be decided a couple of days before the event in order to ensure the ideal bird watching conditions. We will meet in the Lime Ridge parking lot next to Boundary Oak Golf Club. Bring comfortable clothes and shoes for hiking, water, and of course your binoculars! East Bay Sustainability Challenge at Bayberry Pond - May 18, 2013 - 9am to 12pm
As part of the East Bay Sustainability Challenge spend your Saturday with the Foundation at our award winning restoration site Bayberry Pond in Lime Ridge. We are looking for volunteers to help with native grass watering and seed collection. No experience neccessary. Dress in layers, wear athletic shoes or hiking boots. Bring lightweight gardening gloves if you have them, water, sunscreen, and a hat. RSVP to Lesley at lesleyh@wcosf.org and don't forget to register this action at www.eastbaysustainabilitychallenge.org
